DJ Peters got married to his wife Shey Noggle on the last day of the year 2020.

The couple tied the wedding knot on 31st December 2020. Their wedding ceremony was held in front of their close friends and families in California.


Peter’s wife Shey is his longtime girlfriend who hails from Rancho Cucamonga, California. She played softball at Los Osos High School from 2012 through 2016.

DJ and his wife Shey first met while both were in high school. The duo begins their relationship after their reunion in Arizona. The pair got engaged on 1st October 2019.

Born as Donald Scott Peters on 12 December 1995, he is 25 years of age now. He is the oldest of seven children of parents Donnie Peters and Karen Peters.


Peters’ parents raised him along with six siblings in Glendora, California, United States. His father Donnie runs a piano-moving company in California. He has a brother named Josh and twin sisters Heaven & Destiny Peters.


The athlete grew up as a fan of his hometown MLB side Los Angeles Dodgers. His father and grandfather have played a significant role in his baseball career.

His MLB Journey

DJ attended Glendora High School in his hometown. The Chicago Cubs drafted him in the 36th round of the 2014 Major League Baseball draft but did not sign. Instead, he attended Western Nevada College to play college baseball.


Peters was drafted by the Los Angeles Dodgers in the fourth round of the 2016 MLB draft. He signed for the team and began his professional career with the Ogden Raptors.

The 6-foot-6-inch played with the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes in 2017 and spent the 2018 season with the Tulsa Drillers.  Afterward, he was promoted to the AAA Oklahoma City Dodgers.


On 23 April 2021, he was promoted to the major leagues for the first time. Subsequently, he made his MLB debut that day against the San Diego Padres.

DJ was claimed off waivers by the Texas Rangers on 2nd August 2021.
