Justin Bieber Deletes Bare Butt Instagram Photo, Apologizes

August 2024 · 2 minute read

Justin Bieber came to the realization this past weekend that not everyone wants to see his bare butt. The "Heartbreaker" singer, 21, took to Instagram on Sunday, July 12, to apologize for a since-deleted photo he posted of his naked body, shot from behind.

Biebs took down the talked-about image less than a week after he shared it. The pop star originally captioned the shot "Look," showing him standing stark naked on boat pointing out to the horizon over the ocean.

The former child star shared a fully clothed photo of himself on Sunday to offer up an explanation for the deletion in the new image's caption. Bieber's small frame is covered in black sweats in the moody pic, his face hidden in a pair of black sunglasses and a black ski cap.

"Hey I deleted the photo of my butt on Instagram not because I thought it was bad but someone close to me's daughter follows me and she was embarrassed that she saw my butt and I totally wasn't thinking in that aspect," he wrote. "And I felt awful that she felt bad."

"To anyone I may have offended I'm so sorry," Bieber added. "It was completely pure hearted as a joke but didn't take in account there are littles following me!!! Love u guys."

While the instantly famous butt shot no longer lives on Bieber's Instagram feed, it inspired many spoofs and reactions in the few days that it was available online. Miley Cyrus posted the photo to her own Instagram account, adding a little more junk to Bieber's trunk.

After being censored by Instagram for her own nude shot, Chrissy Teigen got in on the fun by posting a photo of the male butt in her life — that of her husband, John Legend. The model posted a steamy shot of the singer from behind, captioning the picture simply, "@Instagram."
