Kristin Bjorklund, who worked as a co-executive producer on “Family Feud” for forty years, passed away on March 5. She was 67.
Bjorklund had been on the hanging tight rundown for a kidney relocation for quite a while, and in the wake of having a medical procedure on Walk 2, she got forceful contamination from the entry point.
After graduating from Dartmouth, Bjorklund began her professional life at Goodson-Todman Productions. In 1982, Bjorklund joined “Family Feud,” where she spent the next four decades. The maker won an Emmy Grant in 2019 for her work on the series, which had in excess of 2,000 episodes.
Co-executive producer Brian Hawley of “Family Feud” wrote, “Kristin Bjorklund was my coworker, my buddy, and my sister from another mister.” Hawley went on to say, “I called Kristin when my life was in disarray or my house was falling apart.”
She may be feisty, determined, and, of course, anal.” Without Kristin’s friendship, my first few years working in Atlanta would have been unbearable.
A close friend of the family, Kayley Hamilton, added, “As beautiful on the outside as she was on the inside, Kristin was known for her smile that lit up a room, her kind heart, her deep empathy toward everyone she knew, her endless generosity, and her contagious laugh.”
Bjorklund was born on July 8, 1955, in Mineola, New York, to Virginia Marie Johnson and Paul Robert Bjorklund. She grew up with her parents.
She is survived by Erik Bjorklund, her nephew, and Annika Bjorklund, her niece.
